Using the site

kennebunkport.me is a free guide to Kennebunk, Kennebunkport and Arundel, built from open and public sources. We work to keep it accurate, but facts change: confirm hours, prices and details with the business before you go. The site is provided as is. Don't scrape it in bulk, abuse the Hide buttons or forms, or use it to harass anyone. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors (ODbL); other sources and licenses are listed on About the data.

Listings and takedowns

Businesses are listed from public facts, unclaimed until an owner verifies them. Owners can claim, correct, hide, deactivate or remove their listing for free. Anyone can hide a photo or line at once, or ask us to take something down. See Privacy for what we keep.

Your posts are yours

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting, you give kennebunkport.me a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and format your post on this site and in its feeds, and to moderate it under these rules. You can edit or delete your own posts at any time; deleted posts are taken down from the site.

What belongs here

• First-hand experiences with a business or place, good or bad, stated fairly.
• No fake, paid or incentivized posts, and no posts about a business you own or compete with (owners reply with the Owner badge instead).
• No personal information about anyone, no harassment, threats or hate, and no spam or advertising.
• No star ratings or scores; say what happened in words.

Moderation

Posts can be held for review by our spam filter or by reports from readers. A verified owner can hide a post on their listing at once, but the post goes to our moderation queue: honest criticism is restored, and only abuse, personal information, spam and posts not about the business stay down. We may remove posts that break these rules and suspend accounts that keep doing so.

Sign-in

We ask for an email address to confirm you're a real person. We don't show it to anyone, and we use it only to sign you in.

“What people say” summaries

Those summaries are written by us, in our own words, from public articles and guides. Each one links its sources, quotes briefly with attribution, and shows no ratings. Owners can respond, and anyone can report a summary; publishers can ask us to remove a quote.

Free for owners, always

Claiming, correcting facts, hiding and removing a listing are free and never depend on payment.
